Hi everyone, I'm a Childrens librarian and avid gamer from the Chicago suburbs, who after years of seeing sub par games in library collections decided to take some action. Kids deserve to have the opportunity to check out games from their public library that are just as good as the books available. I am trying to highlight some good ones for a collection that will not only be entertaining but promote literacy, good social skills, physical activity and a lot more great benefits that games can offer.
Games can be a great way for kids to interact with their parents as well, so a lot of these games will have a multiplayer option that even parents will be able to get into. Enjoy!
